This evening we held a small vigil in honour of trans day of remembrance.
Thank You to everyone who came, the passers by who expressed solidarity, and those who sent messages supporting us.
We read the names of some of our lost siblings, held a minutes silence, and expressed our thoughts of sorrow and of strength and inspiration to each other.
At the end of the vigil we sang a chorus of Solidarity Forever before heading home.
